this movie was nuts. for 12 hours once a year america participates in the annual elimination of the lower class.

That movie is fear propaganda to skew the public opinion of anarchy and increase volunteery dependence of governments.

i know what you mean but i doubt it was made for that purpose, it's just a movie dank.

Government sanctioned murder is not Anarchy, that movie is a fucking joke while you could argue it wasn't made with anything malicious in mind it was certainly made by people who didn't know what Anarchy actually is.

i found it entertaining. it was a nice change from your typical good guy wins everybody lives happily ever after.

i don't think it was made to discredit the anarchy society we are talking about.

the producers probably don't even know about anarchy society they just want to make money with an interesting plot.

It's Holywood, they did this kind of bullshit with Julian Assange lol because it's fiction it's okay at least in their logic but I don't give a shit about it either way Tongue

Yes I just saw the Purge: Anarchy last week, wasn't to bad of a movie, I guess.

I only glanced at the trailer, not only do I not like horror style movies I just didn't find it that interesting Cheesy

If there was a purge then I would be a little more prepared than some cheap machete and a Halloween costume from Value Village. Undecided

As well this movie is entertainment. Despite Agenda 21 conspiracy stuff, you wouldn't kill off the poor or the dependents as that would increase the value of labour and goes against the theory of division of labour. (much like after the Black Death, where 30% -50% of people died, is what brought an end to feudalism and brought about the economic prosperity which culminated in the age of exploration and the renaissance).

it's not really horror cause it's not meant to be scary. it's an interesting twist on american values and it's suppose to make you reflect on society.

No, I like comedy like Jon Stewart which focuses on actual reality most of the time and points at the flaws that really exist in society and peoples ideologies rather than their own bullshit perception, he calls this phenomenon, bullshit mountain Cheesy

The Purge Academy is closer to what you want but you can only expect so much from a limited movie budget.

I'll remind you guys in mexico several cites had to form militas to protect themselves from the police... Starting to look similar here...
