I dont think Paypal and Ebay would start a Crypto on their own when BTC is already stablished, they will gain nothing. They will end up being forced to accept BTC.

The price is dropping for no reason. Some says its falling out of favor since public interest is waning, some say its just maturing.

Price is just one aspect of bitcoin.  Smiley

They should accept all product to bee payed in BTC or any other altcoin. But seem like they are skeptic on this matter.

Maybe they think that will loose more on this or maybe there are afraid of any cryptos on that matter.

Comparing internet and bitcoin is getting old.

You can own bitcoin but not internet. And a lot of internet dotcom companies went bust.

there is not enough bitcoin enlightment, mainstream media and economists, plus people trying to keep status quo are very good at demonizing BTC.
Every time I talk about bitcoin to people who know it, they hate it!
They have already built an negative emotional relationship to it. They always say things like, pyramid scheme, fraud, creation of CIA or only for criminals and pedos, or naive people will lose all their money it should be illegal!!!.............. It is really hard to convince them other way. Embarrassed

I can not see how the fact that bitcoin is constantly rising and falling again can prove or even strike doubts about bitcoins future. The price will continue to rise and fall but I don't see it ending bitcoin.

I do not think there is a future in Bitcoin as any form of mainstream currency. I do think it will survive, but it will always be a niche for speculators and misfits.
I would argue that bitcoin will be the currency of choice for countries that do not have the economic stability to realistically have their own local fiat currency. I think it will replace the dollar in the regard that it is used as money in the poorest countries (but not as a world reserve currency).

Look at around you, and not the chart.
Are you seeing more and more bitcoin services and companies popping up everyday ? or is it shrinking ?

Look at who is working on Bitcoin now, this is the greatest indicator of tomorrow's adoption.

Bitcoin protocol is like a can of worms for the government. Once it is out, it creates all kind of problems with no way of reversing the trend.

This is just the early phase when governments around the world are forced to regulate and deal with bitcoin. Sooner or later, financial institution and banking/insurance industry will need to deal with bitcoin also or get left behind like dinosaur.

This is legit. What matters at the end of the day is merchant adoption. All markets are rigged, no exception. Whales manipulate it to get cheap coins, and pump it to sell more expensive coins. Price volatility is irrelegant. On a log scale, BTC only went up so went the % of adoption.

Don't worry, Bitcoin won't be suddenly used by everyone, it will take time, and its price will increase as its demand increases.
