I have not sold the BTC yet so the prices fluctuate. I update the value each day when I add the new earnings. If I sell some BTC for USD I will have a place to put those totals as well.

You get paid out in BTC, you need to measure your opportunity cost in BTC, therefore you must convert your initial investment into BTC to check for your opportunity cost loss.
GAW is counting on the fact that you won't, because BTC is an appreciating asset and your opportunity cost loss will go un-noticed unless you do the above step.

LOL where did you get this info? If he paid in USD he wants to get the same amount of USD to ROI, if he paid in BTC he would've counted it in BTC. About BTC beins an appreciating asset, I advise you to check the bitcoin price charts from the last 6 months.

1 BTC always equals 1 BTC. So for the purposes of comparing your ROI, i agree with kotarius, it is way easier to see yourself reaching the finish line if everything is in BTC since you are earning BTC. Cashing out to USD doesn't have to happen. Thank you for your help kotarius as that method helped me originally when I was doing these calculations.

Thanks for doing this. Will be interesting to see results over time. I was wondering how hashlets would pay out over time.

Okay I altered it to have BTC or USD at the current prices. Thanks for help. Side note: I have multiple hashlets, but for the purpose of this thread I based it on the 50 mh/s one I have since it is the biggest. All the names were auto-generated.

If GAW follows their trend of screwing customers, you'll see a 60% decrease in hashlet price within 2 months and an increase in difficulty so high that you might make it out with 50% return before your hashlet(s) are worthless.
Congrats!

Within 2 months? Gridseed Blade price went from $1999 to $999 in just a couple of weeks!

They actually raised in price form $15.99 --> $19.99/mh since I bought them. This 50 mh would now cost $999.99 when I only paid $799.99.

Interesting to see that the profit has not been a decrease, but rather steady around 0.025 BTC/day. I've got 52 MH myself, so I hope that the trend continues. Most likely though, with the Scrypt asics (KnC) coming out soon, the difficulty will increase and payouts decrease.

Based on the terms of the deal. If you bought 100mhs and but difficulty doubled and it wasn't profitable, how would you sell it back?
I guessing you can't. Or you maybe can sell your rights to the hashlet on the open market in which it's value would be half or less?
How does that part work?

They plan to open a market soon where we can sell/buy hashlets with other users. Currently the only way to sell them is to contact a mod on hashtalk forums and get them to transfer it.

They are charging $25 now in gawstore for each 1 mh hashlet. So the store value of my 50 mh/s hashlet is now $1249.99 when I paid $799.99. Things may be a little harder for new customers to ROI now.

I guess it's good we bought when it came out....unless they need to charge more to pay out for the zen pool...I still don't know how they are getting such incredible payouts. Clever is at .00036/MH

Tomorrow should have a nice payout(Wednesday night). They are doing a double hash for 12 hours promotion. So for 12 hours my 50 mh will be mining at 100 mh.

No you are only able to mine at their specific zenpool. You can pick from many different pools and they will match the payout you would have gotten from that pool.

And with the instant upgrade of our hashlets into prime hashlets, you will be able to sell each MH/s for $40-45 if you wanted to reduce risk.
