most people will sell at 1k or 2k so they will never see the price in 5 years Speaking in real terms. People did sell at 1200. Since then, its been down hill. Not sure what you are getting at. Regardless of position they will be able see the price in 5 years regardless if they have a position.

I for now disagree. Blockchain technology is far more important than bitcoin and it price… Used it, i secure it but I know at night while i sleep there ways possibly for people to gain access to my keys

I made the mistake of saving for my wedding and honeymoon in btc. The mistake hasn't been the money I've lost, but the stress I'm putting myself through. This crash is just getting too close to the date, and she's going to kill me if we don't see some gains soon.
You got awesome faith man. So sad the story is playing out like this.

And if everyone holds onto their BTC, What makes you think the value of BTC will go up if no one is spending them at all? If theoretically, everyone held onto it, the value would stay the same or even decrease.

Most people won't wait for years, not even 3 for prices to rise. Crypto currencies can be risky with that high time period.
I would personally hold for 1 year or max 2 years.

I was about to sell everything and forget about bitcoins, but I'll follow your advice and I'll hold them for some years.

Here is a good quote from Satoshi: Right. Otherwise we couldn't have a finite limit of 21 million coins, because there would always need to be some minimum reward for generating. In a few decades when the reward gets too small, the transaction fee will become the main compensation for nodes. I'm sure that in 20 years there will either be very large transaction volume or no volume.
Give bitcoin 5 years. Either they will be worth the Moon or 0. It is a binary investment. All or nothing.
