you just sorted all the coins on bittrex by %-change , dont fool yourself : scams , etherum and falling btc price will constantly make altvolume decrease and many coins will implode and die , unless there is a quick trend reversal in btc price or a sudden crash to like 350

Agree, not denying it. I am been mining VC last 2 months now. yeah, I did miss the initial boat

"next best thing since bitcoin", I hope I had crystal ball to tell you that, only time will tell. Who knows maybe by end of this year bitcoin will hit $1 or $1500.

That's why Bittrex isn't a useful indicator. All the time you see huge rises and then you look and see a volume of a 10th of a BTC.

I did notice during the Bitcoin price carnage the other day that Ripple held up fairly well. Not that I am a fan of Ripple, but I found it interesting that it held up pretty well.

Just a correction, price is still going up as well as BTC volume. Last checked it was over 8.5 BTC.

I  feel this comparison is wrong, BTC might fall but independently. However other currecies get affected by BTC
