We seem to have gone thru a few phases which pumped bitcoin thru the roof (ie$1200)
Lets make a list of been & gones & see if anyone here has a new idea for a use which could spurn the next gold rush so to speak...
Now my knowledge is not huge on the subject but i have been here since bitcoin went from CPU to GPU & now i have just over 1TH of bitcoin power (Not very much now that the diff is so high)
1. The move from Cpu to Gpu
2. The move from Gpu to Asic (Thus being the last move bitcoin can make in this field other than more hash & less power)
3. Silk road & variants (Unless anyone else wants to goto jail (or Goal) Depending on where u live in the world)
4. Decentralized banking & money transfer (Less fees, No government control)
5. Fun
6. Trading (like stocks or any other currency)

The way i see it now is : Now that BFL has lost control of the market & no one else other than Bitmain has a product on the market that smashes this shit for anywhere near the price they charge (This is is good & bad)

Whats to stop Bitmain creating miners to mine the last of the coin without us knowing?? (Ill rephrase... Whats to stop them creating the same miners without any upgrade or increasing the price cause there is no competitor? Control of the Bitcoin network without a 51% attack is now possible thru having more than hash than ur competitors product.)
Why is Bitcoin losing so much value so quick?? Cause before it was a race for power, Now power is denoted by how much $$$ u've got!! If bitmain keeps pumping them out!
I'm sorry to say but by Bitmains whole op setup runs on commercial investment. (Setup with the only goal in mind of making money) An offer of sale is more for the stakeholders & stakeholders want that... Sell more! Sell more! They would all be screaming.... Untill BFL or someone else gets there shit together this will all implode badly, For everyone!
