I think something already exists.
For example "Bitcoin Wallet" @ Android of Andreas Schildbach - it's super easy bitcoin wallet. Only after this application i understood all potencial of Bitcoin micro-transactions and easy of using.

Try it if you didn't tried it

For beginers it's more easy than Paypal and other $#@#

in Argentina we have only one ATM in a restaurant (whose accept btc and have a lot of stickers and advertisement about bitcoin), but people still doesn't understand what Bitcoin is...

They look up the atm, read the instructions but no one put bills on it

Once they see others use it they will. Ever walk down the street and see a crowd staring or standing in line for something and you hang around to see what the fuss is about? Well if you figure out when is the busiest time for the restaurant, get a few friends to stand around and use it and look all   you might get a few others curious to join in just because.

Looking at that screen there, 1 BTC = 7000+(obviously not dollars)?  I think if there is a setting in the Skyhook ATM to display mBTC (millibits), you'll be more likely to see people using it as the psychological barrier is reduced.  People incorrectly assume they need to buy a whole bitcoin, but with mBTC you can have hundreds without having a whole bitcoin.  If the price goes back to 1000 USD again, 1 mBTC = 1 Dollar, currently, it's about 50 cents each.

Hopefully the restaurant is accepting BTC as well, as paying for a meal with the only currency you could beam across space is awesome.

you are right, showing price in mBtc could be more effective, especially because 7000 argentinian pesos is an average month salary

I will talk to the atm owner for tell this idea
