This is a totally off-topic post.

Requirement: it should be heard of and eaten widely.

Mine: Fish & chips, watermelons, yuzu.

I don't like them because of the distinct lack of flavor, mostly water. Some say that can be improved by adding salt, but the only good watermelon I had was one where someone cut a hole in it and dumped in half a bottle of vodka, and let it sit for a while.

Let me think...Everything remotely palatable is game for me so I don't have a very specific food I hate.
The worse thing that I would think about eating is Tofu skin (I hate the strong smell and the slimy texture, but I could be coaxed to eat some if needed  Undecided), fried rats (no way I'm eating something so gross, and I did try scorpions and grubs before).

I love heavy smelling stuff like blue cheese, kimchi, durians(damn tasty stuff, I can say), century eggs, shrimp paste, and of course some ole' Limburger goodness  Wink so I don't get why I hate the tofu skin though.

Note: I'm a standard-sized guy, and without a spare tummy although I love to eat.  Wink

Edit: friedcat, I haven't tried testing some fried cat though - I don't eat domestic pets.  Grin

I like a good strong sharp cheddar, but I can't stand Limburger. Smells exactly like shit.

Limburger cheese was what I wanted to add first, but you beat be to the punch, rjk. As a kid, it was always in the fridge, for my dad, a Lithuanian, loved the shit.

Rocky Mountain oysters is a close second for me.

I hate honeydew as well... It's just water pretending to be some kind of fruit.  Undecided
Also,
Soy-nuts
Soy-beans
Soy-milk
Tofu-derivatives....

Ramen noodles, anyone? I hate them too...

Donations are welcome!

This thread has all the makings of a Taste of Distaste festival. Imagine the sights. Imagine the expressions. And last, but not least, imagine the aroma (double entendre intended).

Although, somewhat, this post was penned tongue-in-cheek, with proper marketing I believe this could be pulled off. If such an event were to take place, how would one incorporate Bitcoin into it to bring maximum awareness?

Milk. Can't drink milk without gagging.

I was into eating weird shit but it's been severely limited after I became a vegetarian. Also, milk now casually feels like somebody's bodily fluids and eggs like, well, fetus. Would love to try out durians though, I heard they were forbidden in many places in Malaysia.

Nah, it's a local delicacy. Some of the best ones go for an arm an leg though. It's mostly banned in public transportation like planes and buses in Singapore though, but nobody cares anyway  Wink

I don't eat domestic pets either. My name is just a nickname called by my friends for many years.

I like blue cheese and century eggs too. Although I could eat the former directly without any processing steps, the latter should be cooked properly to fit in my mouth. Grin
