Hello,
I'm a developer with 3+ years of experience in multiple languages (PHP, Ruby, Javascript...), I can work with multiple databases (MySQL, Redis, mongodb...), I also have experience running a bitcoin exchange and troubleshooting server issues, I also do security and performance optimizations. I always try my best to write clean and maintainable code.

I can do:
- Bitcoin sites
- Non-bitcoin sites (like a blog or an image gallery, or something more advanced if you need)
- Desktop applications (Java based)
- Scripts to automate task
- Server setup, maintenance and troubleshooting (Linux)
- HTML5 games (placeholder graphics or graphics provided by you)
- Other stuff: ask me!

Unless otherwise specified the default backend language I will code in is Ruby.

If you wanna see some code please check my github profile:
https://github.com/matugm

You can also check out my technical blog here:
http://www.blackbytes.info

I already developed multiple projects for btctalk users!
I'm available for both short projects or for remote, full-time work. Please PM me if you have any questions or to send me your offers and I will answer in under 24 hrs.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

you work on a contract basis or hourly?

If hourly, price.

Small or large projects? Price.

Thank you.

For small projects you can expect to pay between 0.5 and 1 btc, my definition of small project is one that doesn't take more than 3 or 4 days to complete and doesn't require special features.  For large projects I usually charge 1 btc / week and I will be working full-time on them.

Those are just general guidelines and are subject to change, contact me with your project details!

- Also worth noting is that I give frequent updates (usually daily) on progress and I will make a beta version of your project available to you as soon as possible.

If you accept escrow, I might need you in a few months for a gigantic project.

I recently hired matu to create a custom app for me and from the very start matu has been very responsive in his communication and has handled himself professionally. He provides numerous daily updates on the projects progress backed up with live demos and or screen-shots. His work rate seems quite rapid as with my project he was blowing through the list of jobs with ease. He is also flexible in terms of pricing and unspecified changes to the project, as in the case of my project he was more than happy to add some additional features at a fair price without so much as grumble.

I was so happy with the level of service and support that i felt totally comfortable to send payment in full and without escrow. matu promptly delivered the app within a few minutes after TX confirmations.

(I always recommend the use of escrow when dealing with any unknown third-parties if your not entirely comfortable with sending part or full payment first!)

I will definitely be using matu services again in the very near future.

@Somekindabitcoin Yes, I do accept escrow, but for large projects I expect to receive a weekly payment. So you could do something like, put the weekly payment on escrow, and at the end of the week if you are happy with the work I got done then you can release it.

@Trelon66 My website design is bootstrap based, nothing too advanced because my especialication is programming and not actual design, if you are happy with that please send me a PM with more details (what the site is about, etc.) and I'm sure we will work something out for you. You can see an example here: http://www.blackbytes.info/delta/

@idev Thanks for the review, I appreciate it Smiley

I'm the former owner of CryptoALTeX and currently work for another big exchange.

I will vouch for matugm, he was a lifesaver when I opened the doors of my exchange.  I was overwhelmed in my opening week and matugm came on and not only helped lower my workload but made some changes to the site to increase efficiency ten fold.  Unfortunately the work wasn't worth the time for either of us so we closed the site.  The site was never breached and all items worked seemlessly.  He has my permission to use the exchange code for projects (as long as you pay him Smiley ).

I just wish I could think of a great project to work on with him again
