Based on node-cryptonote-pool running on dedicated linux server running 3.14 kernel on full 64bit debian system (plus tweaking by PO).

Very good network latency for all western, eastern  and northen Europe and also Russia. As you can check here : http://cloudmonitor.ca.com/

Multiple location in near futur (Asia/North America).

Due to increase of transaction fee, i decided to raise the total pool fee from 1% to 1.5%

Fee:

• Total 1.5%
• 1.45% for pool
• 0.05% for core dev

Minimum payment threshold : 1 XMR (Monero)

Stratum like mining protocol, 4 ports with different base difficulty (with enhanced vardiff algo) on this address stratum+tcp://xmr1.coolmining.club

• 3333 for low difficulty (vardiff starting at 200)
• 5555 for middle difficulty (vardiff starting at 2000)
• 7777 for high difficulty (static diff at 10000)
• 8888 for high difficulty (static diff at 20000)

2014-09-08 Load balancing between bitmonerod instances installed and smart monitoring to remove unavailable instance
Fee going back to 1.5 and payment threshold to 1xmr.

2014-11-23 if needed i opened to public a bitmonerod instance reachable on host: xmr1.coolmining.club and port 5012.
So you can open your wallet like this without the need to run a local bitmonerod instance :

on linux :
rlwrap ./simplewallet --wallet-file /path/to/wallet/wallet.bin --password '******' --daemon-address xmr1.coolmining.club:5012
on windows :
simplewallet.exe --wallet-file /path/to/wallet/wallet.bin --password '******' --daemon-address xmr1.coolmining.club:5012

So no more fastidious downloading of the blockchain for people with little connection, they just need to be able to run simplewallet.

This service is as is, don't complain about security ! and the blockchain file is in ramfs, so you can always try to save_bc!!

Miners, support a little pool to grow big and become member of the Cool Mining Club

For mining you need a wallet address, and i keep seeing peoples joining #monero channel, asking help for start mining.

Then i decided to open publicly a bitmonerod daemon, so you dont need to setup one on your local computer to generate an address and synchronise with network.


The first time just run simplewallet with this argument :
"--daemon-address xmr1.coolmining.club:5012"

Then you will generate an address and your wallet will start synchronise with the network.
You will then start mining supplying your wallet address as argument so pool can identify you and reward you from supplied share.

After, when you need to check balance and synchronise your wallet, you just need to launch simplewallet with those arguments :
rlwrap ./simplewallet --wallet-file /path/to/your/wallet.bin --password 'yourpassword' --daemon-address xmr1.coolmining.club:5012

You will be able to also perform transactions, and everything, as if you were running a local instance of the bitmonerod server.

So global hashrate is 23MH/s and only 800H/s on CMC!!!

WHERE ARE THOSE supposed to be miners ?
Did they know that they wont earn more on big pool than on small pool ?

Did they know that support is far better on CMC than on most of Many Major pool ??

Look yesterday +6hours of useless mining on moneropool.com due to lacking support from pool operator and its not the first time

This wont happen here ! And all those miners happy to be fooled by unresponsible pool operator who sleep on their stack of accumulated monero instead of tacking care of miners !!

Added haproxy load balancing between bitmonero instance, better than just standard fallback solution with dirty tweak in pool code like in current universal cryptonote pool !
