just want to chime in as im owner of the guide shared - http://fuk.io/gawminers-fury-13-mhs-asic-scrypt-review-setup-guide-and-unboxing/
there guide has nothign to do with your loss of bitcoins or armory. The only file from my server is: http://fuk.io/BFGminer_Fury_GAW.rar and it works 100% and wasnt hacked by anobody.

so please dont put my name/blog to this - as its some other issue u have, surely not bfgminer

with armory i cant help since i dont use it

Sorry to insinuate it was your fault. That was not my intention. What happened was there is a link on that guide to DL bfgminer. I DLed it from that link and when trying to extract and install bfgminer, Avast went nutz saying the file is infected. So I just assumed that it was a false positive. So, I temporarily disabled my Avast to extract and install bfgminer. It them extracted and installed and worked. However, immediately after installing and running and hashing for the night, is when armory which was working, stopped working ending in a runtime error. Then upon scanning my system with avast, it said 2 files in my Armory install was infected. So, I then deleted the Armory files App Data. Then Armory worked again. But I had to reDL the Block Chain and rebuild the database to make armory work again. But now My wallet wont show any balances.

The guide actually worked however. As long as Avast is disabled.

The system I am running Armory on, I access remotly using Teamviewer. I do not use this system to browse the Internet. It is my home fileserver.

avast is actually preety nasty it shows alot of false-positives, i vouch for the file since alot of people installed it and.. i run it personally.

for start i suggest ie: commoo or bitefender that are also free and wont block apps.

for armory help u need to check here since i do not know how it works but surely bitcoins were not sent anywhere, maybe just some file is corrupted or missing. or maybe avast blocks omething - cant help with that sorry ;x at least i helped iwth fury running Wink

Try clicking "Receive Bitcoins" over and over since that will generate a new address. Then restart Armory (make sure you close completely, not just minimize by clicking the red X) so that it can load your wallet balance.

ACCOUNT RECOVERED 4/27/2020. Account was previously hacked sometime in 2017. Posts between 12/31/2016 and 4/27/2020 are NOT LEGITIMATE.

I am still having no Fing luck.

It is only showing 1 more address each time I open it.

And 0 balances.

Im so fucking pissed off I cant even think straight.

Then go away and come back when you can, all you'll end up doing is breaking stuff more.

Now, are you sure you're using the same wallet (I.E. By ID)? How many addresses did you generate before you lost your coins? Do you have an address of one of your addresses that contained coins? Do you have a paper backup? Do you have another computer you can test on? Do you use the offline functionality of Armory or not?

Please ask for a signed message from my on-site Bitcoin address (Check my profile) before doing any offsite trades with me.

I am positive it is the same wallet(by ID). There was about 10 addresses that I had generated. I see all the addresses in Armory. I Do know the addresses also that contained coins. I do not have a paper backup but I have several encrypted Digital Backups. Overnight, I have received payment from Westhash to 1 of those addresses and I also received another payment from Slush's Pool to another address I was using. Now my wallet is showing those 2 payout transactions in my wallet under the 2 different addresses(the same addresses that I had those 2 pools set to pay out to). But none of the previous transactions or balances are showing up.

I am sorry but I am a total newbie and am still learning as I go. I kept making Digital Copies in various locations though as a just in case anything happened.

Heading away to work. Tonight when I get home I'll try to set up a different fresh PC to get Armory Installed on.

Thanx for the attempt to help.

Is Armory online? What's your top block?

Armory has been online. It is online now but its in the process of Building Databases now(12% and an hour to go it says). I dont know what Top block is or how to tell u that. Right now it says Online and 0 Blocks in green in the lower right hand corner.

Thanx for taking the time to read my posts and trying to help.

That green "0 Blocks" on the right bottom corner. Unless it's somewhere in the 316000, you're not synced. You can't see your balance unless you're synced.

Go to Westhash, Slush's pool, or any other site that'll tell you the address you cashed out too, grab the address, create a new transaction and add that address to the "To" section, do you see the wallet name appear under it?

EDIT:- Do what Goatpig said first, didn't see that, yeah, if you're not synced you're not going to be able to check anything.

If it is all the same addresses and it shows some of the transactions then the blockchain is not being scanned completely.  It should not be taking an hour for Armory to sync up as well.

The transactions seem rather large in terms of data so maybe that is slowing down Armory or crashing it.

I would delete the blockchain data from your bitcoin-d and reload the blockchain.  Wait until bitcoin-d is all caught up.  Then run Armory again and let it run.

What is the best way to do this. Go into Add/Remove Programs and uninstall Armory and Bitcoin-d or just use the Armory Factory Reset (Most Extreme Option)?

I have a 105M/10M Internet connection here. How long should it take to reload the blockchain?

This guy obviously never got Armory online to begin with. No point deleting his copy yet.

To Plumpkatt: once BitcoinQt is fully synced, start Armory and let it do its thing.

Well guys, Thanx for all your help.

I have it all fixed now. I totally uninstalled Armory AND Bitcoin and deleted all App data as well for both programs. Then reinstalled both programs from scratch. Then let it run overnight and now that I am up it appears all is well now.

Thanx soooo much all for taking the time to read this Newbies post and Chiming in with advice. Wink
