Hello
I have been looking for hours (using the search engine) but can't find a topic i saw recently (less than 1 month)

the topic was about a guy who got his BTC "stolen" using bitcoin-qt throught a bot
he said here that he was hacked and the hacker (a member of the forum) said to him that he hacked his wallet so that other hacker won't do it and that if he can sign a message with the wipped adress then he will return the coins.

I'm looking for that topic or the name of the very skilled white hacker (white = nice)

i used the keyword "stole" / "stolen" / "hacker" / "hacked" / "empty"  many results but not the one looking for

thanks for your help

it ain't much but it's honest work

yeah maybe
but i don't think so
because the white hacker said that he was doing it to teach a lesson to people with low security and is willing to give it back to anyone claiming it his (and proving it)

it ain't much but it's honest work

Any idea which section is the thread placed?

You may try to search it on bitcointa.lk (mirroring bitcointalk with a much better search system).

Did it have something to do with a brainwallet? I guess there are a lot of people around who try and empty brainwallets whose passphrase is rather badly chosen. There are hundreds of potential wallets also under constant supervision to grab every Bitcoin that may get there (The famous "Battery Horse Correct Staple" Brainwallet for example!)
