I know, times are dire and worrying, but please make up you mind before selling all your coins. Have you lost faith in the long term success of Bitcoin? Do you believe we haven't been in this situation before? Do you think now is the times that Bitcoin won't be able to recover after all those years?

Make sure to:
  • Not keep invested more than you can afford to loose.
  • Think before you panic-buy or panic-sell.
  • Don't listen blindly to people on the Web when making investment or trading decision!

Indeed that's true. People should know the market before stepping into it.

Bitcoin is quite stable and distributed. It can easily recover.

Nice handle.  Can we expect that you will be making a half-dozen separate threads predicting future bubbles?

No, I'd never do that. You'd have to be crazy to do such a thing. Saying that a certain outcome for Bitcoin is inevitable and now is the last chance to buy/sell, respectively, would be very juvenile and stupid.

In my opinion the solution to pessimism is not optimism, it's realism.

Instead of fallling's tired old chart:

People would do well to think in terms of expansion/contraction instead of bubble/pop.

Exactly! I believe a lot of people got out of the game and capitulated. It's sad, but it happens every bubble! Be careful what you invest, and maybe not go long on leverage, but keep in mind that it's not improbable that we see $1000 again or go even much higher. People have called off Bitcoin a couple of bubbles before!

This one doesn't seem as fake as the last one. In the last one, we had Stamp and Finex going $20 - $30 over China. We should have gotten the hint at the time that wasn't going to last. That said, I am looking to see if that divergence reemerges this afternoon. My dollar says it does. Anyhow, I feel like making money today so I'll go ahead and take the hogs money. I've got bills to pay.
