Are you sure PayPal allows you reverse a payment sent as a "Personal Payment (aka pay a friend)"? I didn't think they did. It's good news if they do, Anyone know FOR SURE or are you all assuming they do?

But I'm still curious regarding the question I asked re: "friends and family". for future reference. not really sure, paypal is known for siding with the buyers 100% of the time and if you file a charge back with your credit card...the seller is fucked. i have been on the nasty side of some bad deals lately. costly lessons learned. |

only issue with posting negative trust is the a-holes can hit you back with negative trust. it's already happened to me. i love this forum, but i think that is one area that needs improvement. |

update: I don't know how Paypal decides cases, but i had 3 separate transactions and i got credit for only 1 ! they are 3 identical cases, and 2 were ruled against me and another was ruled in my favor. what a joke.

A couple of weeks ago I did a transaction via PP that worked fine. I used the entire balance of the card no problem.
