O:B.A.P. is a Comedy-drama Mockumentary (sans a laugh track), and the acronym for Operation: Bitcoin Awareness Project, borrowing from Mission: Impossible and The Man From U.N.C.L.E. for its naming uniqueness. It was first conceptualized here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=747034.msg8447152#msg8447152

The premise can be viewed here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=749075.msg8462063#msg8462063

O:B.A.P. Coin is also an altcoin that's used to fund this project. I'll leave it to some other to develop the Alt.

Meet the O:B.A.P. Team: (for illustration purposes only)

O

Bùi

Alysyn

Pandüü

Acts in only one scene in every episode, playing multiple roles as various shopkeepers that has an Accept Bitcoins Here sticker displayed in the shop windows, revealed in the final episode of the O:B.A.P. Mockumentary to be...

First Episode:

We first meet Alysyn in the first scene of the first episode purchasing Tampons at a convenience store. Once at the checkout counter, Pandüü walks into the store and overhears Alysyn ask the elderly woman clerk if she accepts Bitcoin. While the woman is just giving her a blank look meaning no, Pandüü[/b] asks Alysyn if she's a Bitcoiner. Bùi, already was in the store, now also overhears the conversation and asks, "Bitcoin?" At that precise moment, O walked into the store overhearing "Bitcoin?" and the conversation continues.

Alysyn pays for her Tampons with cash that she had to dig outta her hand-tooled leather purse depicting a Bitcoin logo.  Wink

All four are then outside ready to depart after saying their adieus. But, done of the cars would start with he exception of Alysyn gas-guzzler Hummer (largest as possible for video equipment, of course). Since they'll all going the same general direction, they get into Alysyn's Hummer and hit the road anew.

Alysyn and Bùi are in the front seats, while O and Pandüü are sitting close to one another in back seat, in spite of there being enough room back to seat four adults comfortably.

As the Hummer pulls away, a shadowy person emerges from behind the store, a lone building in the middle of nowhere, grasping automotive parts.

Bùi: <turns around and asks> Room?
O and Pandüü: <in unison> Plenty! <giggling when they realized how and what they said>

In the final episode we learn how it was possible that all four devoted bitcoiners just so happened to end up at the same store in the middle of nowhere at the same time.

FAQ:

Q: Why do you need a Hummer Limo?
A: To get around.

Q: Why don't you link this thread over on Reddit?
A: Good idea! Goin' do that now. Done: http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/2e5ike/seeking_input_and_get_involve_with_bitcoins_first/

Q: Will there be a dog in every episode?
A: Yes, a Shiba Inu.

Q: Can us mere mortals be in the shows?
A: Yes.

Q: Will there me some cryptocurrency coin associated with O:B.A.P.?
A: Yes, in fact at least two: OBAP Coin to help raise some start-up and ongoing cost, and Yolder Coin (YLDR), an Amish-like altcoin featured on various episodes.

Q: What's the main objective of the this Mockumentary - O:B.A.P.?
A: To bring awareness to cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin in general.

Q: Is there a website associated with this Mockery?
A: Not yet, but without checking it's probably a safe assumption that obap.com is already taken. But, come to think of other TLDs may be available.

Characters Development:

O and Pandüü do most of the talking during the attempted conversion stages. They're able to complete each other sentences without skipping a beat, and always sit across from one another during all the meetups. But, in other scenes, e.g. backseats of cars, restaurant scenes, etc., they set closely next to one another.

Bùi is Hindu, but is always mistaken for Native American. He only speaks in one word sentences, sometimes of different languages of which he knows hundreds.

Alysyn is a compulsive litterer and Bùi is always picking up after her. In the very first episode, Alysyn had to stop the Hummer declaring she had to pee, when in reality she forgot to change her Tampon. She tosses the soiled one away into the bushes but, before getting back on the road, Bùi announces that he, too, now has to pee with his signature one-word sentence. Outside, he picks up the littered Tampon with a tear in his eye.

Bùi speaks the final word in the final episode before fading to orange.

Alysyn is a self-acclaimed mathematician, claiming to have tutored Maryam Mirzakhani, the first woman Fields Medals recipient, in spite of Bùi always having to correct her with his one-word sentences. More often than not, she uses her sex appeal to help convert those (men and women) into using Bitcoin.

In an early episode, Alysyn uses her sexuality to persuade an of-age Amish girl, Gaea, into accepting bitcoins on her parent's farm, slowly converting other family members to become keen on the idea via acts not seen, but surmised, inside the family barn. Eventually, Gaea gets the entire Amish community to start using Bitcoin, and somehow she ends up as the largest holder of BTC which puzzles the Amish women as to how that's possible, coming up with various theories à la Monty Python skits, but never honing in on the truth. Meanwhile, Yolder Coin becomes the most popular Altcoin. <lot more on Yolder Coin forthcoming>

Pandüü is the only one of the four that speaks of his various relationships, all consisting of women which makes O uncomfortable during said convos. We never see Pandüü and O use the bathroom, but the other two go regularly, most of the time together, but of course using separate facilities, with the once exception sharing a double stool privy of which they didn't have a choice. <note to self: recall Midnight Cowboy scene - I'm walking here! - when it come times to write this scene I envisioned>

Feel free to jump in anytime, guys, for this is a community effort.

Most your ideas could easily be incorporated into this Mockumentary.

For sure, we'll need two newly created altcoins developed for this endeavor: O:B.A.P. Coin (OBAP) and Yolder Coin (YLDR). The latter would have Amish overtones.

Any actors among us wanting to play a role?

You're going to love the episode where the Yolder Farm has a massive barn raising and is powered by massive amounts of electricity either supplied via standard wire, or by a mega alternative energy source purposely erected to power the Yolder Coin rigs in the barn, selling any excess power back to the local utility company.

Thanks to Alysyn's sexual advances, the Amish chick, Gaea, is the mastermind behind Yolder Coin, unbeknownst to the Amish community because she's the largest hoarder of bitcoins. Gaea is always seen leaving some barn with some Amish guy (various ages), he always straightening up his suspenders, and her checking her BTC balance on a smartphone.

In every episode...

Each episode starts off with the four lead actors getting instructions from Satoshi as to what their next mission consist of to further spread awareness for Bitcoin.

It's not uncommon to actually see the various cameras used during the viewing of episodes. The purpose of doing such is to relay to the viewer subconsciously that full transparency is in play, in spite of all the core actors being oblivious of them.

Bùi sheds a single tear, mostly in scenes involving litter (think http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keep_America_Beautiful). I envision one seen where a tear is shed not because of some litter, but because of something else he witnesses, i.e. walking into a room where some act he didn't expect to see was taking place, and one of the guys from inside the room outta camera remarks, "Next time knock."

I mentioned no sound track, but one could be injected via a smart phone's ringtone, e.g. an Old-time Radio comedy show's live audience laughter from shows like...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Baby_Snooks_Show
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Jack_Benny_Program
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burns_and_Allen

When a sound track is warranted, Alysyn's phone rings, playing an appropriate laugh track and part of the vintage skit before she answers the call and a dialog ensues. Sometimes, there is no follow-up skit after the ringtone laughter, nor a dialog ensues because of the way Alysyn set her ringtone settings, thus knowing the caller. And, sometimes it's just a wrong number that was dialed it by some unknown.

The premise of the O:B.A.P. Mockumentary:

The four members making up Team O:B.A.P.,

O
Bùi
Alysyn
Pandüü,

formed a pack to spread Bitcoin awareness far and wide because of issues they encountered individually in spending their bitcoins.

With instructions from Satoshi (first name only) through various diverse channels at the onset of each episode, Team O:B.A.P. treks to meet up with fellow bitcoiners - unannounced - to help them convert some entity into accepting bitcoins per Satoshi's wishes. On their journeys, they stop to ask locals (mostly unscripted) if they've heard of Bitcoin.

Come to think of it, this project may be a good candidate for a Kickstarter, et al. campaign.

We could easily raise $100K to produce the pilot, giving away OBAP Coins, speaking roles, product placements, etc., as premiums. Not to mention cameos by notable bitcoiners representing their venerable brands.

Have you considered funding your project via the Nxt Asset Exchange? Many other businesses and causes are using it asa form of kickstarter.

I'll definitely explore that option down the pike as this project gains more traction and gets further developed. I'm not seeking to money-grab with this venture, only seeking funding when ducks are in a row and certain aspects need to be paid prior to moving forward.

Ideally, I would love somebody to newly create a sound altcoin having the ticket symbol CBAP, where a % is skimmed off each block to help fund the start of this endeavor. I have no interest in holding any of the funds, with said doled out via an escrow account, hoping Rassah would fill that role.

The first thing we'll need is Alysyn's Hummer.

I think I found a bargain on eBay for only US $69,000.00 or make an offer: 2006 Hummer H2 Stretch Limousine: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hummer-H2-Stretch-Limousine-2006-Hummer-H2-Stretch-Limo-20-Passenger-Fireplace-Tuck-and-Roll-Seating-/251616692777?forcerrptr=true&hash=item3a95860a29&item=251616692777&pt=US_Cars_Trucks

Paying it off in full shouldn't be an issue once ad space is sold, for as you can clearly see there's plenty of real estate to affix signage.

Found a cheaper one for $55,000: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hummer-H2-Krystal-2005-Hummer-H2-Krystal-Limo-200-20-Passenger-43K-Miles-Black-A-Rare-Limousine-/321483967860?forcerrptr=true&hash=item4ad9f00d74&item=321483967860&pt=US_Cars_Trucks

Imagine a BitPay ad on the its hood.

Imagine the possibilities... And, it'll be predominantly showcased in every episode of O:B.A.P. And, feature at ALL future North American (and possibly abroad, depending on cost for transportation, et al.) Bitcoin conferences.

No doge dogs in the play?

Remember to use the f-word liberally and unnecessarily; you may win an award just for that.  (But you may have to substitute "Belgium" for it, to get published in the US.)

Academic interest in bitcoin only. Not owner, not trader, very skeptical of its longterm success.

"Belgium" it is, in lieu of every curse word.

In Post #7 I introduced this dude seen in every episode. Guess what he'll be doing. I'll give you a hint: It involves a leash.

See how easy it is to incorporate your ideas?

For good measures, the Shiba Inu will come from some rescue pound. And, we'll have a naming contest for the Shiba Inu, with the winner receiving payment in OBAP.

We're going to need a safe house for the team to work out of. I'm going to see if there's a barn converted into a house for rent available in my neck of the woods. I've already see there's no problem getting quality actors from around the Chicagoland area to fill the various lead roles.
