Hello, I am the developer of XBM coin.

I was banned for "altcoin giveaway". I am not sure where I gave any altcoins. I would like to see the proof.
I'm hosting an ICO on this forum and people have been posting their transaction ID's and their addresses so they can claim their coins after XBM launches.

That's not considered as "SPAM" or "altcoin giveaway" as far as I'm aware. They're posting proof so the community and our escrow, devthedev can see that they've actually sent coins. I'm trying to make a transparent ICO. This is a serious project. I have invested a lot of my personal time in it.

Please resolve this issue. Thank you very much.
I am holding people's funds, don't want them to think that I've run away.
Also, an apology would be great.

Nickname of banned account is: HardForkComing

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

[...]

The address where funds will be sitting is the following:
Code:
12UW52WuVAMR9jFYtRaNKunTE5U6tMb9ca
After you send your funds this is what you will have to do in order to claim your coins:

1) Send your funds to the address above.
2) Provide txid of your transaction. ( Either in the topic or via PM, if you would like to stay anonymous )

[...]

important part highlighted. also, the wikipedia definition of giveaway is irrelevant.
Specifically, you are not allowed to give people any incentive to post insubstantial posts in your threads. You can't offer to pay people who post their addresses, usernames, etc. You can do giveaways off-site and link to the giveaway page in a thread, but you can't give people any bonus for replying to your thread.

also stop reporting this post to get attention.

It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.

Is there any way you could unlock the topic for only 1 minute, so I can quote it and get everything from there? Or if You could paste it in my inbox? It'd appreciate it.

I'll delete that specific line, so we avoid future issues.

I am sorry for the misunderstanding.

IIRC, that rule is applied only to the altcoin section.
Giving people incentive to post in the bitcoin section is alright. Indeed, there are a couple of bitcoin giveaway going on in the Games and Rounds section.
