Do you know what I was doing wrong? (I got accepted shares)
Should I have mined longer than this, to get paid out? (I stopped, because I thought I was just wasting energy)

The pool must find a block for anyone to be paid - with no one else on it, it's like solo mining.

You mean like solo mining without any rewards? That sounds strange to me...
(I thought the accepted shares were found blocks)

No, P2Pool gives you shares like a pool - a block still must be found to get rewards. If you solo mine, any share is a block. If you check the page, there's not been a block found on it for ~5 weeks.

But something I don't understand yet is why I get a block every 2sec when I solo mine and never getting a whole block done on your pool?

Are you using Stratum or Getwork? I believe one is broken, but if you're getting shares, it shouldn't be a problem...

I use stratum which is broken... but I got many shares which were accepted

I'll restart it, but not certain that will help.

if you use on pool my old p2p scrypt, try to do this:
1) check connected nodes on your ani daemon.
   http://www.multifaucet.tk/index.php?blockexplorer=ANI&network_info
2) stop pool and then, reboot daemon
3) backup and clean folder data in p2pool folder(p2pool/data/animecoin/...   -->  p2pool/data/   empty)
4) start p2pool

On my old pool i use this procedure every few days.
NB: when you clean folder data, all p2pool mine statistics will be lost. And next few days pool work normal.

I've had problems sending big chunks of ANI. The biggest I've been able to put through from Cryptopia is 100 000 ANI, (minus fee so 99999.99...etc). That crapped out recently too so I've started transferring 50k transactions only. testz said it had something to do with transfers being too large.
