@raganius, I invited you to deviantART group AnimeCoin I created back in February, hoping you could admin / manage the group if you have the energy. I tried to get a bit of a giveaway and general awareness going on in there but I got inactive pretty soon. The intent was to start tipping artists with ANI's, buy artists' work with ANI's, have drawing competitions with ANI prizes etc. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=423339.msg4968348#msg4968348Great to know about this group! I'm going to add a link to it in the Animecoin Links I believe an active Animecoin community at deviantART would be much much more efficient than this thread at the BTC Talk, because what matters most is that we take awareness about ANI there, where the Otaku community is. Thank you! Absolutely correct ! The animecoin network needs strengthening in order to give new users a better experience. A more attractive, visual, GUI would also be a great upgrade. There is a long project here, which needs organisation and planning, but the rewards for success would be substantial. An android wallet would be enough, I believe, to make Animecoin more attractive. More and more people will naturally become curious about Animecoin, simply because of the fact that it is related to the Japanese culture, but most os these people might not want to download and install it in a computer. People nowadays almost "don't even use computers anymore": A wallet to be installed at their smartphone or tablet is what they want. It is not impossible to have our android wallet created. Some people here in this forum do this kind of service for some bitcoins, and although nowadays the BTC is much cheaper, our crowdfund still isn't enough. But if we have more people willing, it is possible that we have it. Good point. Android wallet would suit Anime better than most coins.

Seems like the android wallet was partially completed http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=1204271Not sure why it wasn't fully completed yet, unless I'm mistaken. I'll see if I can complete it anyways, doesn't seem too difficult. I can also make a new subreddit (with some cool CSS and stuff) if anyone wants me to, the subreddit we have now is kind of depressing and the moderators are unresponsive. Let's not let this coin die ok?

For me this coin is neither dying nor is it dead! AnimeCoin is just progressing slowly forward until it unfoldes its unique form.
