Hello Everyone welcome to the ideopass treasure hunt !

Ideo treasure hunt round 12

You have to guess where we've hidden our treasure chest. The place name is the key to unlock bitcoin private key.

for example :

- london
- shinjuku  (A place in Tokyo)
- eiffel tower

Or an imaginary place on a book, a movie or game

- hogwarts (the school in harry potter)
- ewok village (in star wars)
...

All in lower case with space between the words when needed

The new chest lock is number 12

contains : 30'000 bits

public key https://blockchain.info/address/1DcoxcYoT9JXf4KyoSAQagUn3vXt4bbTmw
First hint : "A hint was already given"

Player on the leaderboard that reached the level 2 or more

micaman Level 2 : Novice hunter

have a special power level they can ask one and only one question on twitter with private DM
Players on level 3 can ask 2 questions privately.

Ask me to follow you on this topic.

That's all good luck for this hunt

How to play

The easiest way is to download a wallet on iOS or android
I recommend breadwallet on ios and myceillium on android.
Then select wipe private key and enter your guess

If you are on computer you can use any webwallet that opens bip38 encrypted private keys.
Such as
https://greenaddress.it/

1. Register to create a wallet
2. Enter the private key to Private key in WIF or BIP38 format field
3. Enter your guess as the password

Previous Hunt

The new chest lock is number 9

I'll add 2000 bits to the wallet for each retweet, made by a real twitter user, before I give hint #2 https://twitter.com/ideopass/status/521767386111025153

contains : 30'000 bits

public key https://blockchain.info/address/1MgHTbeEymDMUrg9Hv43LvBzvy7pBD5foV
First hint : light

The public key : https://blockchain.info/address/1zCERAAxcaa3JDHNKDwFNSM7AxuCtpQ3L

This a BIP38 encrypted private key with 0.0313 BTC about 15 USD at this time

Hint 1 : the password is not to hard to guess

it's somehow related with this topic

It would have been faster had I not guessed wrong twice. I also figured out that the decryption takes a while (~30 seconds) on old phones and stops when the screen is black Wink

Its an app for android that can handle BIP38 encrypted "paper wallets"

Yeah. And I took the change back. Smiley accidentally panicked and forgot to take the 0.0009. Then I sent it to the wrong wallet and had to send it again, reducing it to 0.0007. Oh well, thanks for sending some back.

2nd try ideo pass
3rd try ideopass - which, honestly, should have been the first guess.
