BitcoinDice is a popular Bitcoin Dice game, BitcoinDice is free to use and distribute.

== Pre-Requisites ==
Linux
Apache2
PHP
MySQL
bitcoind

== Installation ==

bitcoind

1) Install bitcoind
2) Edit your bitcoin.conf in ~/.bitcoin/bitcoin.conf (you may need to create this) to look like the following, You will need to change the username and pass.

server=1
rpcuser=bitcoinrpc
rpcpassword=dfbufbSUBUSbf7763YSFYbfybsiyb87
rpcport=8332

3) run bitcoind -daemon
4) let it fully sync to the network before moving on to the next part (or the script will not work)

BitcoinDice

1) Put in a directory of your choice
2) Change to the inc/ directory and change the permissions to 777 (chmod 777 *)
3) Run the script from your prefered web browser and follow the installation instructions on screen
4) Once completed remove the install directory for security reasons
5) You now have access to http://your-server/dice/admin (or wherever you put the dice script)
6) Finally, Deposit your funds using the receiving address on the wallet tab in the admin menu (Depositing your funds to another address will not work and will not show as available casino funds)

Not much 5-10$ per month.Also,i recommend that you use a linux VPS with 1GB ram.

it just echos a hardcoded wallet addy. instead of it being dynamic.

Just to be clear, this is (as has already been said) a straight ripoff of CoinDice with the deposit address replaced by Theospaul's address.

This is a scam, it was intentional.

Shortly after being discovered, Theospaul "fixed" this "bug" in this commit, and then an hour later Theospaul had the nerve to switch it right back. There's no way it was an honest mistake.

Although we shouldn't be surprised since this isn't the first time Theospaul has run a scam.

Change to this : echo $wallet->getnewaddress();

That would fix this one issue, but it's pretty clear that this is not a bug but an intentional scam. And where there's one scam, there could be others... I'd recommend everyone stay as far away from this software as possible.

I very rarely visit bitcointalk thats why I never had an account until today, infact I heard about this scam script through a friend on IRC and thought "maybe I could help", So here I am and i'm staying!
