I can vouch for the fact that a lot of people do not know how to sign messages. I don't know about this person specifically, however I would not be surprised if any one person were to tell me they do not know how to sign a message and then be able to once it is explained to them how to sign one.

Marco is actually banned for the next 10 days so I would find it unlikely that he will be in a position to be lending money right now. It would probably be a good idea to attempt to contact other lenders until his ban expires.
