How long does it usually take to approve an account ?
I posted about joining on twitter and some people have experienced delays and no contact.
Thank you for your patience. Usually new accounts are approved within a day or two. All outstanding applications have now been processed.

The information would be used to get in contact with users should we not be able to get a response via email, mainly for any legal/tax questions that might come up.

Hi, just a heads up, you might want to be careful, some of the record companies are targeting a business that's exactly like this. Its the only one out, other than this bitcoin one that I know of. Basically its the same thing, users upload music they own, and others buy it from them, they have a system in place that the user has to install software on their computers, and if they sell something it automatically makes it wipe it from their property. Except CD's obviously. Even with a system like that in place, they're still being sued. The labels are claiming you cant re-sell digital products that you own. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-19842851

If that's not the case... BRB, going to go upload the whole internets for sale.

The website has been down for the past 2 hours. Submitted a ticket with the hosting company.
Edit: It's all back up after about 6 hours of downtime.

Hello all, CoinDL now has a Gift & Coupon Codes section. When a customer purchases a code, they get a text file with the code inside. This code is pulled from an inventory that the seller loads onto the site so if you're looking to sell lots of codes, CoinDL is the place. We also only charge 1% for this service versus the normal 20% for downloadable content. https://www.coindl.com/page/category/codesFind out how to create your coupon codes and the details of the program here: https://www.coindl.com/help/gift_and_coupon_codesOur main restriction is that codes cannot expire or have any additional service or maintenance fees for the buyer since some states in the US disallow such policies. You can even sell codes directly from your site using our Sales Widget! Go here to grab that: https://www.coindl.com/widgetThanks!

If you want to sell Gift and Coupon codes, note that we are only charging a 1% processing fee. For this your customer gets lightening fast gift code purchase which is perfect if you want to maximize the last few days before the prime gift-giving holidays.

Hi,
just in case you are out of ideas of how to improve coinDL:
you have apps as a special category. I hesitate selling my app via CoinDL as then everybody could pirate it and claim he bought it there. Is there a way to maybe zip it with a registration key that you send to a callback url that I provide?
The idea is the following: You generate a unique, human-readable, non-guessable key. You ask the authors for a script url that you notify upon purchase with ?key=blablub&paid=0.01BTC. I store the key in a db for later use when I suspect high piracy rates. You have a script that packs the actual apk file with a text file explaining not to throw away the key as it might or might not be needed to proof that you actually bought the app.
The paid-field could be used for pay what you want with some "if you pay above average, you get a wallpaper" features or other nice gimmics on my side.

Thanks giszmo for the suggestion. I'd probably just put the key in the downloaded filename so no special scripting is required. For example: Your-app--8d8f7s988gjj2h.apk
No promises on timing but will post here if it gets implemented.
