HELLO FRIENDS.

I BURNED MY THERMALTAKE TR2 600W WITH MY ANTMINER S3 OVERCLOCKED AND I JUST BUY A BRAND NEW COOLER MASTER GX II 750W WITH 4x6+2  PCI-E CONNECTORS AND I PLUG THEM INTO THE 4 SOCKETS OF MY ANTMINER S3 (REALLY I TRY WITH TWO SOCKETS TOO) AND MY PSU IS PAPER CLIP TRICKED.

I SWITCH ON THE SYSTEM AND THEN MINER BOOTS UP AND WHEN IT SEEMS TO BEGIN  MINE THE PSU SHUTS DOWN AND ALL THE SYSTEM GO OFF.

COULD YOU HELP ME ABOUT THIS MATTER?. THERE IS SOME OTHER TRICK TO DO WITH THIS PSU?.

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!!!

The thermaltake sadly is a piece of crap.  Many GPU miners had them actually burn or catch on fire (the 750W model).  Coolermaster does have some nice outsourced (since they don't make their own PSUs) higher end PSUs like the 1200, but the GX line is bordering on generic junk.  It's possible the S3 is the problem but I would venture that the GX II is the problem.  Try using something like a Corsair CX 600/750, a Seasonic or even an Antec single rail Neo Eco 620.

THANKS FRIENDS!

I CHANGE MY COOLER MASTER GX II 750W.

I HAVE A CORSAIR TX850 V2!!!

IT HAVE 4 INDIVIDUAL 6+2 PCI-E CONNECTORS.

MY ANTMINER S3 IS NOW CONNECTED TO ALL 4 PORTS AND OVERCLOCKED.

IT RUNS ENOUGH QUIETLY AND AT TEMPERATURES ABOUT 39-42 CENTIGRADES

SOURCE CABLES COLD: NO MORE THAN 29 CENTIGRADES (INFRARED THERMOMETER)

I CAN GET 517 GH/S AT MAXIMUM.

I'M HAPPY NOW.

PLEASE SHARE.

THANKS!

Sometimes spending an extra $20 to $30 is enough to save hours of headache and 2-3 days of downtime while troubleshooting.  With ASICs it pretty much comes down to either the ASIC or the PSU - on rare occasion the network config can be an issue.
