We were querious also, thanks for posting. The off topic threads are where we can enjoy life a little, for some mabey a little too much. I mine Ltc on wemineltc.com, but there are scrypt pools that mine the most profitable coin at the moment and then pays you in your coin of choice.

Got to the altcoin section in the forum and look for new coins and announcements. You can jump on new coins and hoping that they will be accepted somewhere in some time to get a profit from it. You can also mine in multipools and mine a particular coin and then withdraw in BTC. BR Gondel |

To get it running, first create an account on a scrypt pool (preferably a profit-switching pool). Then download cgminer, run it with pointing to the pool's mining URL and port. |
