It's alright for the short term but ideally the services will be accepting cryptocurrency directly in the coming years which kind of makes the business irrelevant after that happens right?

absolutely thats why all coins will be mined in less than 5 years and the company has plans to liquidate once mass adaptation has taken place.  All shareholders will receive their percentage of company assets if/when we liquidate. So no one is left holding the bag.
