I heard that if you place an order for 2, but only pay for one, the order will be manually fulfilled.

Bitmain made a comment on their facebook page a while ago and was wondering if anyone has done any orders like this?

Would you really be willing to take that risk?  I would rather just find someone locally or purchase it 2nd hand through amazon.com

Buying through amazon is more expensive compare to buying from manufacturer...

Copy and pasted from Bitmain's official Facebook page:

David Schmetterer Wish I could buy just one... The pair thing is a high barrier!

Bitmain: You have to order at least 2 units, but you can pay for one. Sales guy will confirm your order manually.

I spoke to bitmain and they assured me i can pay for 1 and it will be manually approved. Once i payed it showed up in my account as .58 was paid. This is directly from bitmain email.
Dear Customer,

Greeting from BITMAIN!

Yes, you can place one order, and just pay for one, we will confirm your order manually.

Kind regards,

Kiddy Chen

well you could order from a reseller. Since bitmaintech won't ship you one for about 30 days..   buying one direct would save you a lot of time.

I don't see much attraction to sending .58 btc  today on aug 23rd and wait until sept 20th to ship.

that cost is about 295 usd as .58btc = 295 usd if you buy coin from coinbase right now.

that 295 usd sits tied up for around 30 days.

a 450gh miner

would mine   .0095  a day until sept 1 which is around .076

from sept 1 to sept 12 about .0081 a day which is around .097

then from sept 12 to sept 22 about . 007 a day which is about .077

A total   of .25 coins  say your power is about .05 your total lost  if you buy from them on the preorder is  .2 btc   and I used very big diff

jumps.  I really think it is wasting .22 to .26 btc to buy a pre order from bitmaintech.

this means .8 to .84 btc is the real cost of doing the preorder from them today.

So if you pay .75 btc today  from a reseller on this site   that is just as good as paying .58 btc for sept delivery

Can't you find a seller on this site that will sell you one for .65 or .7 btc  and ship today?
