IMO, LTC will be replaced with another altcoin. Already Bittrex announced the opening of the another market: BC / BTC

Nah, LTC is a decentralized ledger is still doing just fine. Just look at the difficulty chart: http://www.coindesk.com/data/litecoin-mining-difficulty-time/

You mean the 2nd spot market cap for LTC will be replaced? Having the same thought, but I think it will not just drop from 2nd spot but slowly fade away over the next 12 months.

LTC most likely will be replaced with XMR in the future, for now it will just try to fight a certain down trend.

Do you think litecoin will fall down ?
It has completely tanked from where it was, very disappointing right now, in serious jeopardy of losing its #2 status in the next few months.

Over the past 18 months the price against BTC has been very much business as usual. We're on the second big dip, and currently rebounding from it.

I'm hoping LTC will continue to be the staple 2nd place coin so to speak. It is rising, albeit slowly again
