Hi, I need a programmer to code something relatively simple for me (Windows)

Coding in languages without dependencies is preferred.

I need an application to execute a file after an amount of idle time and to stop when the user is not idle.

I need this ASAP, please PM me.

Unattended installation. This is for personal use, nothing harmful.

You don't say on what platform, so I'll assume Windows.  If you are using Windows 7, for example, do the following:

1) Control Panel > System and Security > Schedule Tasks
2) Create a Task...
3) Go to the 'Conditions' tab
4) Select 'Start the task only if idle for' and specify amount of idle time
5) Specify 'Stop if the computer ceases to be idle' and 'Restart if the idle state resumes'

You may send my payment to: 171CeWvZ9fqDGJ2wQQ97abVPa2LsZKVCpZ

I am aware of using Task Scheduler, but it would be difficult to do that on all the computers I need to do this on.
Is there a way to automate it (task scheduler file) or an executable?

Thanks.

Just copy the file from the Tasks folder in C:\WINDOWS and you can deploy it to all your "machines".

There are tasks (formats?) for different Windows OSs, there are 3 options to select from.
It would not be useful to have it only work on some of my computers.

I could add to this that in a legit setting you could join all these windows computers to a domain, and from there you could push down scheduled tasks to the PC via GPO objects. Nice and easy, and central. No need for third party software (provided you have domain admin rights on all the computers that need this "task" added to them) Wink

But if you're trying to be all covert and do something sneaky, that wouldn't be an option. Wink

There are tons of "legit" ways to do this without additional software or scripting. All easily found on a google search.
