Fiat currency will be free, no need to pay bitcoins for it. Unless it comes in a cool frame or something...but then you are just paying for the presentation of it.

They'd have to be worthless to go to 0, so we'd be talking about a complete failure of the technology for whatever reason.  51% attack, bug, unforeseen hack, etc.
Lack of popularity or government bans could cause the price to fall, but no way to 0.

yep, lots and lots of support at 1 cent! i will be buying heavily at $1 all the way down to 1 cent if that happens. it'll be worth it, if only for souvenirs!
