In German cities, it's raining Euro bills. It should be raining Bitcoin paperwallets/giftcards.

Is this something you created? I'm not sure what to make of it.

Due to an article that BitcoinTalk didn't like that I wrote on CCN, my account is banned. Theymos refuses to reply to my request for hearing his side of the story instead of banning my account. Please sign my petition to get Theymos to unban my account. Thank you.

This is actually quite interesting but I am not too sure if these are legit or even available. It would be nice to be able to have access to something like this. I shall await more information on this Smiley

A little more guidance about what these are about would be nice instead of just saying at raining paper wallets.

I'm assuming the photo is just there to illustrate what a paper wallet might look like in case anyone wasn't sure, heh.  I don't think the OP is saying that they actually have a bunch of those paper wallets and want to drop them out of the sky.  They're just saying that they think it would be a good idea if someone did that.

I have never seen these before, but i would imagine they will become pretty popular. They will be on the rack right next to the itunes cards, and amex gift cards, etc

Every Bitcoin wallet is a global bitcoin account.

Remember Aaron Swartz, a 26 year old computer scientist who died defending the free flow of information.

Would dropping paper wallets be sufficient?  Or would we also have to drop an instruction manual with them so that people can understand what they are and how they work?  Might cause injuries if the manual has too many pages.   Grin

I know the paper wallet could just include a link and people could read it all online, but the real question is, would people actually bother to load a website up if they don't know what it's all about beforehand?  It's quite a steep learning curve for newcomers, so it would have to be explained clearly and concisely on the paper wallet as to why they should care.
