Vote the Cryptohero of the Year @ http://cryptoverse.org/cryptohero/
I am looking for good counterpartys to setup a multisig address for some prize money. Please contact me here or trough email: hello@cryptoverse.org.
Also I am looking for a skilled web developer to help us strengthen the voting code.

You should add Ira Miller (coinapult) to the list and also Stephanie Murphy.

A very basic way to set up a voting system would be to log IPs to the DB that have voted and only allow them to vote once. Most of the time this is sufficient, but if you make a member's area and allow members to vote only once and you have to be logged in to vote, then you're good to go. Also, be sure to check your boundaries. Be sure people can't edit any JS you might use and change how many stars they give or do other garbage.

Due to an article that BitcoinTalk didn't like that I wrote on CCN, my account is banned. Theymos refuses to reply to my request for hearing his side of the story instead of banning my account. Please sign my petition to get Theymos to unban my account. Thank you.

#1 Jason King (feeding the homeless - Sean's Outpost)

#2 Andreas Antonopoulos (educating the masses)

#3 Bruce Fenton (calling out Ben Lawsky's hostile takeover "bitlicense")

Remember Aaron Swartz, a 26 year old computer scientist who died defending the free flow of information.

Can some please explain why Andreas is downvoted by so many? I know he does not much coding but look at all his speeches! No one else does such a good job at explaining bitcoin.

Thanks for posting the list. There were a few people I just learned about and have never heard of before.

It's nice to see Amir and Jason on this! I always like the ones that think different. Jason King is my cryptohero!

Great idea i think! Why don't you raise some money for the winner? Maybe split it for the best 3 at the end of the year?

Andreas tends to be more out there and he is very vocal in his opinions. Because of greater exposure, he tends to attract more trolls. But not just trolls, since some do genuinely tend to believe that Andreas tends to think too highly of himself, while criticising common mortals.

Can't say that I don't totally understand this view point, but IMO the guy just has high standards and he's one of the rare few that can live up to his own standards. He's not a hypocrite or at the very least, he makes effort in not being one. Not many can say the same.
