The Squamish Chief Rock ClimbingWhen I lived out west, I spent countless weekends up in Squamish, B.C. rock climbing many different routes all over The Chief, the Apron being one of my favorite places to (quite literally) hang out. We never took any videos of us climbing, but this video is of one of the most popular routes that I climbed. The summit being 650m if I remember correctly. GoPro - Climbing the Chief -Squamish BC - Diedre ButtfaceIn this video you can hear the climber say, "nope, I'm not putting my knee on it" at 5:22 in the video. This is a general rule in climbing. If you can get your knee on it, you can get you foot on it. Your foot always being preferable.
