Magic: The Gathering - Inside the World's Most Played Trading Card GameI started playing this game when they came out with the "Ice Age" expansion and continued playing it for about 10 years. It was loads of fun, until they started releasing expansions that were too OP and made all the older cards seem rather weak in comparison. I stopped buying new cards at that point and eventually stopped playing altogether, as I was beginning to get bored of the same old cards. I probably could have sold my collection for hundreds if not thousands of dollars, but decided to just give them all to a friend of mine. We still play once in a blue moon, but the "magic is gone", so to speak.
