Hello ! I recently bought a thunder x6 from zoomhash. I got a rpi model b with minera on it, everything seems fine except the psu.

I run cgminer with the basics config : 128 chips and 248 speed

let me explain. I saw it was using 450w so I thaught that one of my old psu which is 500w ( http://www.silverstonetek.com/product.php?pid=248) would be enough. But everytime I tried to use it it keeps shutting down 15 seconds after it's started. then I have to wait 5 mins before being able to start it again.  So I guessed it wasn't powerfull enough so I bought this : http://www.amazon.fr/Corsair-Alimentation-Series-CX600M-CP-9020060-EU/dp/B00ALYORPO/ref=sr_1_11?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1408037851&sr=1-11&keywords=alimentation

I thaught that 600w was more than enough but the same problem appeared, later but it still did. So I started scrapping my own computer to get a 750w psu and the same problem appeared again. I really don't understand why this is happening.

One day when I was still trying stuff and after seeing my 600w shutting down again I let it on being like "meh it will get back up in 5 mins anyway"  buuuut it didn't, and when I tried to plug it back it exploded T_T. So here I am, hoping for some help.

I'm using a paperclip to make it run without a pc

Thanks in advance ! Smiley

Thunder need 450W@DC power so the 600W have to be enought. Are the raspberry working normally without the Thunder?
