hi there,

I do for some reason need daily open/hi/lo/close/vwap (or some of these) from 2011.
I tried to use the bitcoinprices market-API, but I kinda failed:

http://bitcoincharts.com/t/trades.csv?symbol=mtgoxUSD&start=1293836401&end=1325372399&low

yields ALL of 2011s trades. Not that I can verify, since my comp keeps crashing ^^

Can someone point me to my error (or another source)?

I maintain this for a monthly summary:

The data used for BTCs is based on Mt. Gox data and is obtained from Bitcoin Charts:

Select custom date range, scroll down and click Load Raw Data.  Copy and paste to a spreadsheet (note there is a gap from 6/20/2011 through 6/25/2011 as the result of the exchange having no trades on those days following their security incident).

Can I exchange it for bitcoins instead?

As far as that spreadsheet, just know that the volumes only reflect MTGUSD and not trades of other currencies at Mt. Gox and not any trades at any other exchanges.  On some days this is 20% or more of the volume that exists at Mt. Gox.  But the volumes are generally consistent for getting a sense of trends.

Ha, ... that's wasn't what I meant by that.  Being in involved with Bitcoin warps the brain after a while.  I was at a convenience store pumping gas and in my mind I'm calculating the exact number of gallons a bitcoin will buy.  A friend was getting rid of an old gaming PC and my mind right away tries to remember what the hash rate is for that model of video card.  It's just nuts!

I appreciate the thought though!
