I like Bitcoin because its cool lol. I also like how easy it is to send and receive bitcoin without going through hassles of the bank. I don't think I'll get rich from it, so far I haven't even seen the life on the other side of the decimal  |

Capitalism and profit aren't evil and a nice consequence to us recognizing a superior framework.... but I wouldn't feel any regret for supporting the cause and investing my money, labor , and time into Bitcoin even if Bitcoin crashed.
Bitcoin represents an ideal far more important than profit. I have no faith in Bitcoin; I trust the principles and framework that it embodies. This is something no banker and regulator can corrupt or take away and if they try me and my friends will simply fork the blockchain. These agorist and open source principles are ideals to live by regardless of which label they fall under.

Easy concept. See December of 2013 for an example of how people might get into Bitcoin to get rich:  Anybody that mined or bought BTC before that spike and held all their Bitcoin are now for the most part rich. |

Of course, the ones that mined on CPU/GPU then pre-ordered Butterfly Labs are kicking themselves. The ones that mined on CPU/GPU then ordered the 1st generation of Avalon and KNC mining equipment most likely profited. |

This is such a great post.
I don't expect ppl here to understand the bitcoin protocol, but at least what bitcoin really means to humanity and modern society.
But all these lame ppl just buy and wait expecting something to happen.
wonder how far you guys can get.

The corruption of banks and the wealthy has reached the tipping point and now that I have bitcoin I no longer use other currencies on the internet. I for one am not going back. Took the words right out of my mouth. Well said. Exactly same |

Credit cards just do not work in the internet/digital age.
If there were no BTC, something centralized would fill that void.
I'm an advocate for BTC because the marketplace will be better off if it wins.
There's still a long road ahead - and a lot left to prove.
