I was checking this old thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=144331.0 and it seems like these features were all QT only. Looking for something that can be done in this regard that handles the fees etc, with a RPC call instead.

I've been using my own solution. Beware, the code there is outdated and I didn't bother to upload it to github.

For RPC it would be these calls directly to bitcoin-core: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Original_Bitcoin_client/API_calls_list
