MokiMarket has been online for 6 months; here's a few stats about us:

Over 900 items sold....
100s of positive feedback....
Over 50 bitcoins given away at fraction less than what you would pay on Mt. Gox.
95% of items we post sell for less than 5 cents...

You won't find another penny auction with stats like these. Mokimarket is hands down the easiest penny auction site to win stuff on; many wonder how we are able to afford to stay in business:

1) Unlike most penny auctions, we post items that only a few customers out of a 100 are interested in, this reduces the competition for items dramatically.
2) Most items we sell we already own or were donated to us so we can afford to let $50 merchandise go for 5 cents.
3) We don't spend any money on marketing to reduce overhead. Are marketing is through forums and word of mouth.

Check out this bitcoin auction ending tonight...

We have dozens of other items posted, be sure to check them out on mokimarket.com

Oh cool, Another scamish QUIBID style "BIDS ONLY GO UP BY 1c!!!"
Heres why: It costs you 10c to bid, And you can ONLY bid by .01btc increments.
Aka, Bid more than once, And you've given away some money.

There is a Massive scam "game" that this sytle of auction is based upon.
a while ago someone put this on the bitcoinforums..
: ONE BITCOIN AUCTION, Current bid? None.
You can only bid by .01 at a time, And it'll cost you .01 to bid.

The guy Payed the winner his full coin, And earned a PROFIT of .80btc

It is a game.  Unlike quibid where only the company itself can post items, on Moki anyone can post items.  Therefore lots of people can make profit, not just the host site.   I have put up a bunch of stuff and bought a bunch of stuff.  So far everyone delivered and I had a bit of fun.

I remembered when you first advertise here, the site was near empty and you were selling Bitcoins at super cheap prices trying to attract users.  Congrats on the growth of your market place!

Thanks! I really appreciate the positive comments. This is sort of a fun hobby of mine, but perhaps one day will become a huge flea market where people post all sorts of weird and crazy stuff that someone somewhere in the world might want.

The penny auction angle is a really small component of the overall barter based economy potential this site has. But we have grown to a little over 500 users while still keeping a good reputation.

But always good to get some positive feedback.

Cheers!!  Grin
