How are you offering the phone as collateral while selling the phone to pay back the loan? Collateral means the lender holds the phone and YOU get it back after payment of the principal and the interest.

Collaterall means that you would have to send that phone to the person that have borrowed the money to you.
Wich makes no sense as you want to unlock it. Nobody cares if you have iphone if you won't give the lender collaterall.
