Thank you for the comments.
Also curious as to whether or not your mining another algo. now or have just shut them down entirely pending sale?
I started scrypt in October with the GPUs, then when the scrypt asics started shipping en masse, I switched to mining x11 in May.
I tried my best to find better mining software and more lucrative coins with some trading volume, but was unsuccessful. I am keeping the infrastructure in place and selling the GPUs.
Nuts. I had enough headaches at times with 100 gpus. Could not imagine 400.
It was pretty bad at times, especially when I did not have the proper cooling setup.
Did I read that temp. right in 2nd to last room 98.x?
Yes, that is correct. Sometimes it would reach 110F, but that is no big deal. Industrial warehouse sprinklers go off somewhere in the 200-300F range. However, most GPUs ran in a 65-75C range.
Would you mind sharing how you are/were able to afford such a large building
The Landlords just put me wherever they had space and electrical panels. Rent was pretty cheap at $400/year. I hired an electrician to run my own power. The closer you are to existing breaker panels, the cheaper it is to run your own power.
Also, would that metal gate inside the building actually keep anyone out from the farm?
The landlords trust their tenants. The metal gate is just to separate the farm operations from the rest of that space so they can still rent out should they need to. We also have cameras pointed everywhere.
That original video I posted was from March. This one is from June, it has more GPUs and an ASIC farm:
