Hi mates ! I am writing now cauze i'd realizided that some days ago , when i moved 1.5 btc from Electrum bitcoin wallet to another btc address, the fee's was the same amount  of the payment (1.5 btc ). So today i looked at Electrum and in fact the transaction was 3 btc (1.5 + 1.5 fee) , i saw it in "details" of payment . Now the question is : i have lost 1,5 btc in fee's or there is something that i can do for restore it in my account? Thank you mates , sorry for my bad English ,

Ouch, sorry to hear that.

I believe in the past someone who made the same mistake got their fee back from the pool that mined the block.

I don't want to get your hopes up as you have to find the pool and then hope they are feeling generous.

It would help if you posted the transaction.

Look at this transaction page.

The 3rd part in "Summary" says the transaction is included in block # 317750

You can click that number to check the block's information.

In the Block information summary it says "Relayed By       Eligius"

take the link above and replace the transaction ID of the example transaction with YOUR transaction (that sent the 1.5 fee)

Do the same process to check who it was "relayed by"

Tell us who the block was relayed by and we'll help you find a way to contact them if we can.

I've heard of a similar mistake made in the past. I think the amount was higher, but the pool agreed to give the fees back.

I hope you get your 1.5 BTC back  Smiley

If you enter 1.5 BTC in the text field that is for the fee, then it will be paid as fee.

Hope you get most of your 1.5btc back. This is not thr first time I have seen this. Should the clients be changed to pop up a warning of the fee is abnormally high?
