Hey guys I was thinking about all the privacy concerns there are with online communication currently and was thinking about secure business communication, and started thinking about something most of us have and that is mining equipment. Now would it be possible to secure messages with the SHA-256 encryption and set the difficulty of it for messages? Say I write message and encrypt it at a difficulty that will take a 100g/hash an average of 10 seconds to crack (with luck as a variable), say this is a communication between two business partners and part time miners and somehow a thief online was able to get into his files (say a dropbox) and encounter this, lets assume he doesn't have a miner and probably won't take the time to try and decrypt this with a pc but if he does depending on his gpu it would take him a while and the message may be outdated by then.
Is this possible/anyway to input this ?
You may want to check out the Bitmessage project at
