Best tip of advice I could offer.  Run.  Fast.  Run as far away from cloud mining companies.  You will not be happy at the end of it all.

This should be discussed in the altcoin section.

Scrypt-N will not receive cloudmining unless ASICs are developed for it.  ASICs won't be developed for it given current prices.

There will have to be a few non pump and dump coins for scrypt-n first. I disagree with the ASIC statement, because companies would have no problem running GPU or FPGA cloud mining services for scrypt-n if the price was right, it's just that at current prices scrypt-n mining is not highly desirable and thus they wouldn't make many sells.

What else do you suggest? GPU rigs are unprofitable, ASIC manufacturers and their pre-orders do not deliver, so what is left, please share your wisdom with us?

Just because cex.io is designed in such a way to never reach positive roi doesn't mean every cloud mining company is a greedy bastard like cex.

There are still a few good mining asic manufacturers - I am only suggesting that you do not invest in cloud mining.  At the end of the day you really have no choice but to preorder to get the unit you want and hope the manufacturer puts extra power in the machine to accommodate the difficulty and time line.

I retract my previous statement. Gaw Miners stated that in the near future their Hashlet Prime's may include additional algorithms, so probably yes. How soon is the question.

Only scrypt-n coin I consider worth long term is VTC. It's going away from scrypt soon. Hopefully that algo will just become a relic of the past.
