Possibly it won't happen. Take case of Africa, people can afford a bank account since ages but no internet access

For faster developing nations, its possible.

When you look at it like this you can truly see just how much of a difference new technology makes. Bitcoin definitely is the thing of the future. Whether it will be a few years or many many years though is too hard to tell but I see it being a big thing in years to come.

You can't just generalise Africa like that; pisses me off when people do.

The more people who early bitcoins from mining, the less chance the value will reach these skyrocketing prices people dream of.

Just my personal option of supply & demand.

If I can buy a miner at relatively reachable amounts, the value of what I archieve will not be 10x 100x anymore...there was the one-time boom like a undervalued stock, but now its just settling.

4 years? I think it won't be possible. People don't trust digital money as much as real money, moreover if you loose internet access somehow, you won't be able to do any transaction?

We can't know if the trend will continue, now it's undervalued looking at the chart but who knows if it will rise again.

If bitcoin will reach 100,000 in 2018 half of this forum will be on holidays for the rest of their life.
