100 to 500 per block with a 60 to 75 second block timer seems to be the sweet spot for coins.  If you keep these specs odds are no one will mine it because they can't profit.  If no one will mine it why not make it 100% PoS?  I know why, your goal is to sell out an IPO by making it look buying it is a better option then mining it.  Here is the problem.  Sure they can buy it cheaper then you can mining.   But bad specs = a bad coin. And a bad coin doesn't increase in value, it decreases in value daily until it hits .00000001 btc.  Making a good coin with good specs,  add many cool apps / uses over time.   That's what gives real value to coins, not empty words from a newb dev.

Why should anyone line this dev's pockets?  That's all this guy wants.  He wants btc for free.  What will he do with all the btc if he gets it?  Will he use it to create new innovated uses for coins?  No he will keep it for himself.  Dev's need to come up with innovations first, ask for money second.  Anyone paying off these IPO dev's  / 100% PoS coin's is only making the problem worse.  You want innovation?  Force these devs to come up with new ideas before you invest in them.

3 mins with a 1000 block reward would product enough coins.  The dev doesn't seem to get it.  He thinks producting 7.33 coin a min is a good idea.  It is terrible because no one will mine it.  He just wants to line his pockets with that IPO don't get trapped. Give me 11.22 BTC for free is all he is saying.
