My issue with local bitcoins is that it can take a pretty long time to accumulate a position
And most sellers are trying to extract a stiff above market price
I suppose anonymity has a price

Instead of searching for good traders selling bitcoin, you can as well list your own ad there to buy bitcoin at your specified price. It may take some time for someone to show up, but you should be able to get a better price.

None of the exchanges are anonymous if you are going to have FIAT in the operation. Crypto4crypto is the safest way. If you want to use FIAT, use LocalBitcoin and meet with the seller.

Unless you know a heavy miner, or a miner friend who would give you btc, I dont think their is a anonymous exchange as most will require information about you.

You can always have your friend go in place for you instead? if you are buying it in cash..

bitfinex fits the bill, I think. KYC seems to be minimal.
Cryptsy used to be good as well but hearing standards may be slipping

Craptsy was always crap. Tongue

No liquidity in their USD markets anyway, so it's really only good for altcoin trading. And now we have better altcoin exchanges as well, like Mintpal and Poloniex.

For face-to-face cash trade, you don't need to provide your personal information to another person or party and it doesn't create any record on the transaction, so I would consider it anonymous.

how to make the most secure wallet?

Regards,

Go to bitaddress.org, cut the internet connection, generate a new wallet with BIP38 encryption, print it out and now you have a secure paper wallet. Smiley
