Bitcoin is in a downward trend, so this is to be expected.

Downward until you can rebuy where you sold, you mean?

I only sell when it's high and buy when it's low.
I'm buying when we're below 500, in a couple of days or so.

$4xx incoming!

It was fun watching those walls get bought. Annnnnd here we are now, $5-10 below the wall prices, and bids could look healthier. Things are not looking all that good here.

Draper was very clear about what he bought the bitcoins for. Definitely not to turn it around in the market.

There's no reason for this drop, I didn't see any bad news recently...

There has been no fundamental reason for any recent weakness. It is either manipulation of exchange prices by selling (whilst simultaneously buying OTC) or simply a lack of buyer side demand in the face of continued miner sales.

I expect the price to meander up and down until people on here expect nothing, then once bitcoins have been wrestled from weak hands into strong, the price can rise up again. That could happen next month, or it could be a long wait until the next block halving, or never!

My only concern is that of a rogue player (say a central or private bank) deliberately trashing the technicals of the bitcoin price on exchange to try and stop user adoption breaking out. That is, stop the next bull run which would draw in new blood, attracted by the price rises..

Bulls are weak these days! Yeah, definitely. I guess we really do need a real trend reversal first, in order to start a sustainable and definite train back to the sky. It is merely bottom fishing that's currently going on here!

I should have gotten into Bitcoin back in 1992...

This fall is purely technical.
The way that news works is like this;
Bear market
Bad news is seen as very bad and good news just slows the descent.

Bull market
Good news is great while bad news slows the rise

It's all about how the news is perceived.

This fall is just unwinding the remains of the bear market. There is more coming and the news will do nothing to stop it. The fact that we had all this good news from earlier this year and we could only correct up a bit of the fall is a prime example of how much news affects the market. It will not create a reversal and we don't need bad news to have a correction. This is just natural market behavior.

There are a couple thousand BTC for sale, right at spot!Where are all the buyers? You bulls are weak

How come you troll the price before the downfall you claim takes place.  To me it clear that you're just looking to insight panic selling.  Why not just come here when the price has tanked and when you've bought a bunch of cheap coins then show off how right you've been?  We all know you're looking for cheap BTC and are a longterm bull..  Surely you're growing tired of failed attempts to create a panic, so why not spare every one the time wasted reading your fud?  I think everyone want cheap BTC and before long they will realize the time to get cheap BTC is now.

I know how this shit works... I'm not interested in the wall. I've seen walls of 10-50k, so don't tell me about the walls and how impressive they are. (...)

This is the first thread I started. I think you got me confused with someone else.

Either way how is it FUD to ask why no one is buying when everyone says they would buy at these prices? There was an order for 2000BTC for sale. Ripe for the picking and at one price so there would be zero slippage. I made note to the fact that no one was buying a nice chunk of coins at a "decent" price.

You mean first thread you started with this account?... Wink  Not to mention your handle is TrollinU..

Seriously though, you imply bulls are weak because they don't buy coins right now.  To me a statment like that is FUD.  The price is what it is and nobody owes you an explanation, people will buy when they want not when you say so.  If your so sure the price will fall why are you so worried about arguing it will happen?

When you notice that walls are being used to set floors and ceilings you stop playing their game.
1. Set ceilings by placing sell walls...Nick nervous sells and drops the price... buy lower.
2. Set floor by putting up buy walls and Gus greedy buys...sell high.

Keep repeating this and the clueless wont know what's hitting them.

Hint: look at volume on certain exchanges and notice most dumps occur between 3am and 4am US
central time...most people are asleep at this time to notice. For the past few days some actor(s)
is buying around 6-8 hundred BTC's and then dumping them around mentioned time.

Some smart traders have already figured this out...therefore no huge buys.

What he said...

Do you recall when this started?
