I'm not the Dev but what it looks like it the blocks are moving slowly (until I hit it with a miner) and now the blocks are moving. Since there are old wallet that have a longer block chain the wallet seems to want to show that it is not sycned but it is. Once the currect chain get longer than the old chain looking like it is not synced will no longer be in issue. What really needs to happen is to get those old nodes to use this latest version. I've been pushing about 100 blocks each day on this coin with a small SHA miner and then POS does the rest throughout the day.
