Hello everyone,

Sorry for the delays, we are handling all support in the IRC channel #MidasCoin on freenode.

Regarding the profit calculation of scrypt mining, this figure is currently incorrect, and we are in the process now of getting the correct figures to update.

Wallets have been released on http://midascoin.io/wallet/

For all those who are not having accepted hash, please confirm with yourselves and also the rig owner whether they/you are not using Cgminer 3.7.2, as hash will not be accepted.

Is anyone having any difficulty with the Nicehash stratum when using Nicehash?

If anyone is having trouble accessing the pool due to heavy loads, the backup pool frontend is available http://www2.midaspool.com.

Thank you to everyone who is supporting, this launch was a success.

MidasCoin is off to a great start! More than 24GH in the first hour!

If any of you are having problems creating a pool account:
Clear your cache and register here: http://www.midaspool.com/ref/167
Or try the backup pool: http://www2.midaspool.com/ref/167

If you're running into wallet problems, you need to create/modify a MidasCoin.conf file.
It should be in your %appdata%roaming/MidasCoin directory and read as follows:

addnode=node1.midascoin.io
addnode=node2.midascoin.io
addnode=node3.midascoin.io
addnode=node4.midascoin.io
addnode=node5.midascoin.io
addnode=node6.midascoin.io
addnode=node7.midascoin.io
addnode=node8.midascoin.io
addnode=node9.midascoin.io
addnode=node10.midascoin.io

If you want to test sending or tip, please feel free.

why i see the coin diff..is 27332...

so i am mined litecoin in midaspool??

Is that true ?
Are using the hashpower  directed to midas to mine other coins ?

Hey Everyone,

My name is Ernest Cheung, and I have been with MidasCoin since its inception.
I've been away on work without a signal for the last couple weeks, but I've finally
returned home last night.

My main priorities with MidasPay is to produce educational content, manage
the SubReddit(s) and of course customer support. You will notice me as "MidasPay" on Reddit.

As someone who watched MidasPay start from the ground up, I am incredibly proud
of our achievements, and where it has brought us today. I will attempt to answer
any questions on this thread as well as respond to your emails should you have more detailed questions.

Don't miss out on the Midas Touch!

To quote the first post:

The Proof of Mining distribution system uses a different approach to securing the MidasCoin blockchain. Instead of “wasting unneeded hash power” for securing the network, which unless under attack can be secured with much less hash power, it uses 95% of the hash power to “secure another” blockchain. This increase the reserve fund that grants the backed MidasCoin value, actual and future

Hello, I think you will find this post very interesting, specifically my point no. 3.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=760755.msg8579279#msg8579279

The difficulty you are pointing out is the PoM Difficulty, this applies only to MidasCoin mining on MidasPool.com.
