When will the tournament take place?

The tournament will take place at February 14, 2015, 05:00 p.m. (CET). To make sure everyone will be there in time, it is being advised to login about 15 minutes before the game starts. The tournament will start automatically at the given time.

How will the tournament proceed?

Depending on the amount of participants there will be several tables which will be more and more merged when players discard so that, in the end, only one table is left. The final, or so called Heads-Up, will start immediately after the tournament is over and only two players are left. We will play Texas Hold'em No Limit!

How and how long can I register?

Registration will end at February 13, 2015. To register, send a PM to Sumpfbiene or Bitcoin-Einfach. Important: You'll have to tell us the name you use as a player on PokerStars. Only then we can eventually find out about the winners. We do ONLY accept Personal Messages via Bitcointalk. Please do NOT post your registration in the BeaverCoin forum. The list with all participants will be published in the BeaverCoin forum, though.

Once you have registered you via PM, you will receive a message from us with the access data for the BeaverCoin Poker Club.

The list of all BeaverCoin tournament participants will be published on February 13, 2015 in the BeaverCoin Forum.

What are the prizes?

1st place: 10,000 BVC
2nd place: 5,000 BVC
3rd place: 2,500 BVC

Which program will be used to poker?

Since we like the program of PokerStars best, we'll play with this. You can download it here.

How can I register at PokerStars?

How to create an account:

Once you've installed and started the game you'll see the game's starting page.
Click "Login" in the corner on the bottom right.
A new window will open in which you have to click on "create a new account".

Please enter your user name (user-ID) here. Try to use the name you also use on Bitcointalk. If this name is used by someone else already, take another one and tell us your name in a PM so that we know about the 'who's who' Underneath, enter a password and a valid email-address since you'll have to confirm your data afterwards.

In the next step they'll ask you've heard of PokerStars. Just pick whatever you want here. Now you'll have to confirm the terms and conditions as well as the fact that you're 18 years of age or older. If you're a few hours younger, we'll allow it anyway as it won't be checked and we don't play with real money. So there's nothing to lose.

In the end, you'll have to send your registration data. You'll get an email which includes a link you have to click for confirmation.
(Only) Once you did that, registration is completed.
